‘Care’ is the watchword at Roshan Eye Care Hospital (REACH) which is why we have equipped our clinic with high quality equipments that meet with international standards! At REACH, we maintain a Class 10 Ultra Clean Theatre equipped with the following features:
- 400 air changes per hour at surgical zone
- Less than a One 10 micron particle in the operating atmosphere during surgery
- Positive airflow at surgical zone is 0.2 m per second
- Air is filtered with HEPA filter which is standardized to 0.3 Microns at 99.9%(EU14 Class)
- Sterility of theatre is confirmed on a weekly basis with the culturing of swabs taken from walls, floor and operating tables
- Meticulous, regularly calibrated sterilization units including ETO and all theatre equipment make surgery complication free

The World class ZEISS (German) VISU 150 Operating Microscope with closed circuit TV helps the relatives and friends of the patient to watch the ongoing surgery.
ALCON INFINITI VISION SYSTEM: (OZIL)
Alcon Infiniti Vision System reduces the risk of complications, making surgery efficient, controlled and safe.
Premium AcrySof IOL: Roshan Eye Care Hospital (REACH) recommends the usage of foldable AcrySof IOLs. Intraocular lens (IOL) is an artificial lens implanted to replace the clouded crystalline lens of the eye during cataract surgery. The foldable premium Acrysof IOL has a unique edge design which allows the lens to press on the posterior capsule and bond with the fibronectin of the capsule, making the posterior capsular opacification rates with Acrysof the lowest in the world. Depending on each person’s job and requirements, monofocal or multifocal acrysof IOLs are used to replace the cataract.
