Estimations reveal that there are 200,000 blind children in India. The vast majority of childhood blindness occurs before the age of five - a period when 75 per cent of learning is through sight. The fact is that much of this is preventable!
At REACH a complete eye check up is performed and the children are provided with remedial measures.

REACH educates the parents and teachers in schools and trains them to undertake the initial testing -preliminary vision recording among children. Further checking and treatment for those with deficient sight is done at the hospital.
